The next morning we checked out of the Intercontinental, walked to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, and took the S-bahn back to the airport. Once at the airport, we stored our big bags in left luggage (7euro/bag/day) and went to check in for our 10:30am XXL airport tour (19euro/person).

After the airport tour concluded, we took some notes while eating pretzels we bought at a stand in the airport. Then we headed to the airport grocery store to get some food for lunch and for our long FlixBus ride to Zurich.
