I obtained a complementary upgrade to first class for my flight from Chicago to Austin due to my executive platinum status with American Airlines.

Lunch was served during this flight.  I opted for the chicken salad, with came with a choice of bread and a warm chocolate chip cookie.

The flight was otherwise uneventful, but it was nice to end the trip with a spacious, relaxing flight in first class.
